Function Rooms and Meeting Facilities
We have four rooms suitable for a wide variety
of purposes …all with different design, size, style and atmosphere.
There is sure to be one that will suit your requirement and we’re
clever at changing the room layouts to tailor the room exactly as
you need.
All our rooms have wireless Broadband capability
and can of course be set up as required with flip charts, OHP and
screen, or digital projector and screen. In addition the Conference
Room has a multifunction lecturn which controls curtains, drop down
screen and ceiling mounted digital projector through which images
and sound can be transmitted from TV (including satellite), DVD,
video, PC or laptop.
Lounge : 12m x 9m
In the evening this room is used as our licensed
bar but through the day can be transformed into a meeting room which
can comfortably hold 20 boardroom style or 50 theatre style. It
is particularly suitable for discussion groups or when a relatively
informal meeting is required.

By the substitution of different seating and
tables and the use of the flexible lighting system, the style and
atmosphere can change completely to suit customer needs exactly.
And of course, if the meeting or discussion group
is so informal that drinks are required, the bar can be opened on
a cash or account basis as preferred.
We can serve food to you in this room also, as
a self serve hot or cold buffet, or waitress served to table.
Training Room : 12m x 12m
This is our most flexible room and is particularly
in demand for product launches and other uses where a non carpeted
floor is preferable. We’ve seen many delegates running around
their chairs in warm up sessions during training programmes before
sitting down to some theoretical tuition!

Up to 30 can be seated boardroom style and 60
plus theatre style.
Kung Fu sessions are held here (every Thursday
evening) and the room is very popular for emerging rock bands to
fine tune their music – but so far no X Factor!!
We host a very popular children’s drama
workshop on Saturday mornings in this room.
Meeting Room : 9m x 6m
We sometimes call this room ‘the Boardroom’
because that’s what it has the feel of and tends to be used
for more formal meetings around the shaped tables that combine together
to seat 18.

The tables are very versatile though and we can
create an entirely different feel if required, either by setting
out as classroom style or by creating round tables for interviews.
We have served some splendid meals in this room
when transformed into a private dining room and it is fully licensed
for the sale and consumption of alcohol.
Conference/Function Room : 16m x 12m
This large room has two types of flooring and
like all our facilities is multi functional. The central area’s
hard flooring is perfect for dancing of all sorts where seating
can be arranged around the carpeted perimeter.

This room seats up to 120 theatre style.
Even greater flexibility and capacity can be
obtained when we open the twin double doors leading to the Lounge.
The size of the room allows for meeting tables
in the centre and breakout areas around the edges or is perfect
for larger scale company or product launches, presentations, conferences
or hearings.
We’ve had wedding receptions, bed sales
and brass band concerts in this room. |
